Sarah Klein Masterson is a writer and communications consultant who lives in Hyde Park with her husband and two children. She's a sixth-generation Native Texan who has spent a cumulative 12+ years as an Austinite (with two stints in Washington, DC in the mix).

Sarah is a U.T. alum and did grad work at Texas State University, the University of Maryland-College Park, and the Smithsonian Institution. She's worked in journalism, publishing, P.R., and academia, and has taught at Texas Lutheran University and the University of Maryland. Most importantly, she makes a mean sangria.
